любой шейдер с Bump-map требует наличие Tangents в формате вершинок (Properties -> Mesh -> Vertices -> Format -> Tangents). После включения тангент надо их обновить инструментом Surface\Normals\Calculate.

check the location of local axes on objects, as these are important. In some cases, a child axes should match the parent axes too.

make sure the [Del] key is still assigned as a hotkey for Modify\Delete tool. I have no a solution for this particular issue. It is always the trial and error. I used to replace original models only during tests and never created any addon /dlc model for the game. So I'm completely unaware on how the model is configured to run in game with no crashing.
