It has migrated to Compatibility -> Settings branch. Leave Compatibility on "Default" and change "Settings" there to "ETS2/ATS".

if you could get the model from mechanic simulator in any commonly used format (like .fbx, .3ds or .obj), you are likely to be able to reconstruct the model for gta V with the geometry objects extracted.

It might look outdated, but there were no significant changes other than node options or, may be, traffic light settings. The rest is the same as in this guide. ZModeler web account does not require activation/verification. It is active after creation.

in most of cases, wrong texture appears when the game can't find or can't load the texture on material. Once it fails, the texture from previous drawn fragment is used.

also, once you set "empty.dds" on DETAIL2 texture slot, it is likely you will need to set "Use UV Mapping:" to "Manual UV#2" (currently UV#1 is set there). If this does not fix all paint jobs, set there "Manual UV#3" and export again.

try any of original texture first, the one that comes with a vehicle. just to ensure the game reads material settings properly. if you see texture appearing, then the texture is the problem. if livery/name is still missing, then the model or material is the cause. game uses DDS textures in DXT5 form...

You were supposed to use trial license before purchase. It is explicitly stated in terms and conditions of license purchase. Since you have already activated your paid license, I had to black-list your platform ID too.

These should appear in GTA Options window when you edit properties of an object and [COL] state is not toggled.

If you don't have these options, remove "GTA5.xml" file in Config\Settings folder, run ZModeler and let it download updates. Then restart ZModeler.

I don't see what your problem is in. You can have several materials with different textures on them. then assign each material onto respective object/polygons. once you load your model into Open IV, open it in viewer, then use "More information" -> Shaders. Locate the shader for this problematic material and explore its texture slots. If there is "BumpSampler" there, check whether it contains any texture name next to it.

what model/ycd does this natively? or is this a modded file with some scripts? I remind I was watching a video on youtube with "utiltruck3" operating crane and it looks like it had a correct collision after expand/collapse animation of crane. Yet I guess it was all up to scripting.
