The tasks which I have followed, first I updated the Steam client and deleted the Steam cache. Then the important thing which I have done, I added this [b][color=#00BFFF]-no-cef-sandbox[/color][/b] in the shortcut of the Steam properties. Finally I updated the graphics card drivers.

It took sufficient times to complete all the process properly. I just now completed the all methods and played the game for sometimes and I did not get back the black screen issue further. :D

Hi, Last week I purchased the game 'Mafia II' from Steam and played well. But since today, I have been having a strange problem on Steam. When I would like to play the game and open Steam, I am getting a black screen issue. Though there are no other games stored in the library of Steam, so I am unable to check if the black screen is coming for other games also.

If anyone has any ideas about this black screen issue of Steam, please help me to solve this.
