How did you get it to work? I am having the same problem currently.

I assume you've copied license key in web account and used "Shift" key to transfer license key into ZModeler? Unfortunately, you can not install trial license key this way, since ZModeler still requires your trial key to be verified/validated and this can be done automatically only. Also, your platform ID has still never logged in to license server, so I suppose your network configuration is not good or something is blocking ZModeler from reaching *.zmodeler3.com

In most of cases, when you assign new password and running ZModeler as Administrator is enough for ZModeler to do an online check. Turning off antivirus can help too if you have network access problem in ZModeler.

Also, as a quick test, remove "Codelib.zmx" file in "Shared" folder and restart ZModeler - you should see a green down-arrow icon in the bottom of ZModeler window - meaning ZModeler was able to reach updates server and see a missing file on your configuration that could be downloaded. press green down arrow to download it. If you don't see green down arrow icon, ZModeler is unable to reach updates server and you will be unable to install trial license until you solve this network problem. Make sure to restore "codelib.zmx" file in "Shared" folder (e.g. unpack it from ZModeler3_x64.zip" package).

If still can't solve the issue, I afraid paid license is the only option then. Even more, it is advised to get at least 90-days license, so your offline verifications could last for much longer. ZModeler can work offline with paid license only.

I updated it and now it no longer stays in the "checking online" phase. It now says that the verification failed each time. I'm not sure why this is doing this now but it is. I tried changing the platform password and it did not fix it and it still says verification failed. Is there a way to fix this? Thanks again for the support so far, I appreciate it :)

Your platform iD "ZK7HE-GG" has never logged in to license server. Make sure this is exactly the same ID as you see in ZModeler, a misspell will make it impossible to install license key.

Second, assign password in web account and in ZModeler again, just to refresh it. Your account name should be specified as SirenianSoup03, it is case sensitive.

Finally, take a look whether ZModeler is able to check for updates - a spinning circle icon in the bottom of ZModeler window should stop spinning in 5-10 seconds with either green "down arrow" icon or with blue "ok" icon. It is advised to toggle Settings->General->Network->Autoupdate->Interval = "Each startup" , so ZModeler will try to check updates each time you run ZModeler. If you restart and see ZModeler checking for updates with no success (spinning circle never stops spinning), then your network or security setup does not let ZModeler reach updates/license server.

I tried it the way you said and one time I was able to get the verification to say "failed" instead of "checking online" but I never managed to get it to actually went through, I tried putting it in both drives (C and D) and ran as administrator and it still did not work. I changed the platform id password and it still did not seem to work and I was still stuck in the "checking online" screen. Is there another way to try and fix this or is this just a problem with the free 15 day trial? If so do I have to buy a membership to fix this?

Trial license can only be installed in automatic mode.

It is essential to run ZModeler as Administrator. It is advised to put ZModeler folder somewhere on drive D: if possible or at least in C:\Program Files\ folder.

Turn off your firewall and/or antivirus for ZModeler while installing license.

Assign simple password like 123456 onto your platform ID in web account on "My computers" page. Specify your account name and platform password in ZModeler on "Account Setup" page.

I just recently wanted to start using zmodler and now whenever I try to activate my 15 day free trial it keeps saying "verification: checking online..." Is there a way I am able to activate my free trial without having to be stuck in this screen? Please help me, thanks.
