when you open ZM's License Information window, you see your platform ID and a message "You can create account....", correct? If so, you should add ZModeler folder into exclude list of your antivirus and unpack ZModeler files again, as some of them might got deleted already. Then activate ZM again and close it. you should get "CodeLib.dynamic" file located in "Shared" folder. If you do, ZM saves your license.

ZM does not save validation for short-term licenses (trial, and your first 30 days on account). In such a case, opening License Information window will show your license key in ZM already, but validation is performed online. This is a correct behavior, just make sure online configuration is properly set up and open License window on each startup to get license validated. This is not a must for long-term paid licenses.
